Erik ten Hag reveals when Casemiro and Martinez will return
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has revealed that Casemiro and Lisandro Martinez won't return to action until mid-January.
Martinez has been on the sidelines since September when he suffered a recurrence of his metatarsal injury. He underwent a fresh surgery.
On the other hand, Casemiro has been out of action since early November with a hamstring issue. Both players are currently in rehab.
Speaking in today's press conference, Ten Hag said that the duo won't return until the New Year and they could start training by January 15.
Apart from the duo, United are also missing other key faces. Mason Mount, Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof are sidelined until January too.
The good news is that Christian Eriksen is available to return to action, having overcome a knee injury sustained against Luton last month.
United are currently seventh in the league standings, six points behind the top four. Saturday's game at West Ham United is a must-win for them.
