Mauricio Pochettino confirms Chelsea duo will miss Crystal Palace game
Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed that Enzo Fernandez and Lesley Ugochukwu will be sidelined for the Premier League clash against Crystal Palace tomorrow.
The Blues have had another difficult campaign and they will be without two key midfielders when they host Palace at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.
Speaking in his pre-match presser, Pochettino confirmed that Fernandez and Ugochukwu are set to miss out on the late kick-off for the London derby.
He said: "No, Enzo no. With Lesley, we will assess him tomorrow, but I think he felt his hamstring again."
Chelsea have dropped to 11th in the league standings following Bournemouth's fourth straight win. The Cherries beat Fulham at home earlier today.
The Blues should be favourites for the derby tomorrow, but based on their recent performances, it could be another tricky game in front of their home supporters.
Moises Caicedo, who was out with a high fever last week, could replace Ugochukwu against Palace. Christopher Nkunku could be in line for his full debut too.
