London club have firm interest in Arsenal striker
Crystal Palace have a firm interest in signing Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah during the January transfer window, according to David Ornstein.
The England international has struggled to nail down a regular starting role with the Gunners and he is currently a back-up behind Gabriel Jesus.
With the club eyeing a new striker, there has been talk that he could leave the club and Ornstein claims that Palace are long-term admirers of him.
As things stand, Arsenal are not contemplating the prospect of selling him, but the scenario could change if they receive hope of signing Ivan Toney.
Should Brentford give the green light for a potential deal, the Gunners are likely to cash in on the services of Nketiah in the current window.
Ornstein claims that Palace are expected to push hard to sign the Gunners graduate in such a situation as they need more firepower up front.
Nketiah has struggled to cement a starting role at the Gunners and a move to Selhurst Park could bring the best out of him as a number nine.
