Arsenal prepared to offload striker for £30m
Arsenal are prepared to part ways with Eddie Nketiah for an initial fee of around £30 million this month, according to Daily Star.
The Gunners graduate has had a mixed campaign with the club and he has scored only six goals across all competitions. Out of those, three came in a single game against Sheffield United in the Premier League.
His impact has been minimal away from home and reports claim that the north London giants are open to the prospect of selling him for £30m plus an additional £10m in the form of performance add-ons.
Crystal Palace are currently leading the pursuit of the England international, but the likes of West Ham United and Brighton & Hove Albion have also been linked with the 24-year-old in the recent past.
If Nketiah were to leave the club, the Gunners could step up their interest in landing a marquee striker. Brentford's Ivan Toney seems to be out of reach with a hefty price tag of around £100 million set by the Bees.
