Arsenal handed big injury boost for Nottingham Forest game
Arsenal have been handed a big injury boost with midfielder Declan Rice expected to be fit for the Premier League trip to Nottingham Forest.
The Gunners recently returned to winning ways with a comfortable 5-0 triumph over Crystal Palace at the Emirates Stadium.
Rice provided an assist for Gabriel Magalhaes' opener, but the Englishman did not last the full game after picking up a muscle issue.
It is now reported that the 24-year-old was only feeling muscle tightness and he is expected to retain his starting spot against Forest.
The Gunners have had a dreadful recent record at City Ground. They have lost in their last three trips, failing to score on two occasions.
They will be aiming to end the winless streak next Tuesday as they look to put the pressure on leaders Liverpool at the top of the table.
Arsenal are currently five points behind Jurgen Klopp's side for the top spot. They can temporarily reduce the gap to two with a win.
