Bayern considered shock move for Chelsea winger

Mudryk was on Bayern's radar

Bayern Munich considered a shock move for Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk following an injury to Kingsley Coman.

Coman recently suffered a serious knee injury and he is expected to be sidelined for the rest of the campaign.

It is now reported that Bayern tried to sign an emergency replacement and Mudryk was one of the names on their list.

However, a deal was never discussed with the Blues as they had no plans of negotiating a permanent transfer for him.

Mudryk has been a huge disappointment since his €100 million switch from Shakhtar Donetsk at the start of last year.

The Ukrainian has registered only four goals and four assists from 43 appearances in all competitions for Chelsea.

He is no longer an assured starter for the Blues and there are suggestions that the club could cut their losses on him.

If Mudryk can't turnaround his fortunes by the end of May, the hierarchy could contemplate parting ways with him.
