Mauricio Pochettino admits Chelsea need set-piece specialist
Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has admitted that the club are currently lacking a specialist from set-pieces in the squad.
The Blues are currently 10th in the Premier League table and they face another tricky challenge against Wolves this weekend.
Ahead of the game, Pochettino spoke to reporters on different topics and one of those was focused on the lack of quality set-pieces.
The manager explained that the club are lacking someone like James Ward-Prowse, who could make the difference from dead ball situations.
Chelsea did not spend on any first-team signing during the January transfer window, and it was forced on them due to FFP concerns.
The Blues need to balance their books by almost £100m by June 30 and there could be several departures at the end of the season.
The likes of Armando Broja, Trevoh Chalobah, Ian Maatsen and Conor Gallagher could head for the exit door before July 1.
Broja and Maatsen are currently on short-term loan deals with Fulham and Borussia Dortmund respectively.
