Arsenal & Chelsea make contact to sign Everton midfielder
Arsenal and Chelsea have reportedly made contact with Everton over the potential transfer of midfielder Amadou Onana.
Onana was on the radar of the Gunners in the last transfer window, but they did not make a formal approach for his services.
They are planning to return for him in the summer and Sport claim that the club are likely to face competition from the Blues.
The publication add that both clubs have started speaking with the Toffees for the Belgian, who could cost around €60 million.
Barcelona are also admirers of the versatile midfielder, but they are unlikely to compete with the London duo for his signature.
The Catalan giants have financial problems at the moment and they can't commit more than €40m to sign the ex-Lille man.
While Onana would find it hard to turn down a move to Barca, it is unlikely that the club will meet the demands of the Toffees.
Onana has made the decision to leave the Merseyside outfit this summer even if they avoid relegation from the top-flight.
