Chelsea defender could be fit to face Liverpool

Chelsea defender Thiago Silva could be fit to face Liverpool in the Carabao Cup final, according to Mauricio Pochettino.
The Brazilian centre-back picked up an injury in the recent win over Crystal Palace and he was absent against Manchester City.
In his absence, Levi Colwill and Axel Disasi formed a fine partnership. Disasi was handed the man of the match for a sublime display.
The fans would ideally want the duo to continue at the back, but we won't be surprised if Silva is picked in the starting line-up on Sunday.
Speaking in today's press conference, Pochettino said that Silva will be assessed and there is a possibility that he could be involved.
Liverpool are without several key players with injuries including Alisson Becker, Trent Alexander Arnold, Curtis Jones and Diogo Jota.
Despite this, they are deemed favourites to win the Carabao Cup and it would be a statement if Chelsea can get the better of them at Wembley.
