Arsenal want to sign Man Utd defensive target
Arsenal are reportedly aiming to sign Manchester United target Jean-Clair Todibo this summer.
The Gunners currently have William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes as their central defensive pairing.
They are undispensable at the moment, but the club are still aiming to bolster their options for next term.
Todibo has now emerged as a top target for sporting director Edu Gaspar and an offer could be made soon.
Sport claim that Nice are looking for at least £42m for the Frenchman, who is open to a bigger challenge.
United are also in the mix for his services, but the defender is not a priority target for the Red Devils as of now.
This is a big advantage for the Gunners in the pursuit of Todibo, who was previously in Spain with Barcelona.
The La Liga giants also stand to benefit from the transfer, considering they have a 20 percent sell-on clause active.
It remains to be seen whether Todibo will consider a move without the guarantee of regular playing time.
