Man Utd offer to pay €60m to sign Belgian midfielder
Manchester United have reportedly offered to pay €60 million to sign Belgian midfielder Amadou Onana this summer.
The Red Devils are lining up a move for a defensive midfielder and Onana is one of the top names on their wishlist.
Barcelona are admirers of the former Lille man but Mundo Deportivo claim that they are trailing United in the race.
The Red Devils have reportedly lodged an offer worth €60m for the Everton star which includes €5m in add-ons.
Everton are yet to make a decision over the midfielder's future, but they could contemplate his exit amid financial issues.
The club are currently in the process of a takeover, but they still need to recover plenty of losses through player sales.
Jarrad Branthwaite has been on United's radar in recent weeks, but the Toffees have rejected their €50m proposal.
There is still a possibility that the centre-back could leave. United seem to be eyeing a double swoop from the Toffees.
