Arsenal striker wants to join Marseille this summer
Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah has opened the door to joining Marseille in the current transfer window, according to Foot Mercato.
The England international had another difficult campaign with the Gunners and he was largely an unused substitute after the New Year.
Nketiah is now on the radar of Marseille from Ligue 1 and reports claim that the French outfit have already made contact with his agents.
The Gunners graduate is interested in a new challenge away from the club, though Marseille will need to convince Arsenal over the fee.
The French outfit recently agreed on a package of £27m to land Mason Greenwood from Manchester United. Arsenal may want something similar.
Mikel Arteta continues to value the services of Nketiah, but he is unlikely to block him from leaving if he decides to move on from the Gunners.
Arsenal have their sights on landing a marquee centre-forward and the departure of Nketiah could provide an added financial boost for them.
