Fulham submit new offer for Emile Smith Rowe
Fulham have made a second, renewed bid for Arsenal attacking midfielder Emile Smith Rowe this evening, worth a reported £38 million plus £2.5 million in add-ons. The England international appeared in only 13 Premier League games last season and 12 in the campaign prior to that, and will now be allowed to leave the Emirates for a new challenge elsewhere.
Despite being a hugely popular player with the Arsenal faithful, manager Mikel Arteta and director of football Edu have decided to let Smith-Rowe find a new club. Fulham have long been admirers of the England international, who has been capped three times, and look set to beat West Ham to the signing of the 23-year-old.
Fulham have money to spend having allowed Palhinha to leave for Bayern Munich on the 11th July 2024, in a deal worth a reported 55 million euros. The Cottagers are seeking at least two midfield replacements, one in a defensive capacity and ideally Smith Rowe as an attacking outlet.
The Gunners are rumoured to be very busy internally planning for the transfer window, and already have a shortlist of six names that they would like to bring to North London.
