Arsenal interested in signing Bayern winger?

Arsenal are reportedly monitoring Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sane ahead of a potential transfer approach this summer.

The Gunners recently bolstered their backline with Riccardo Calafiori and they are now expected to reinforce their attacking options.

Emile Smith Rowe is on his way to Fulham in the coming days and the likes of Eddie Nketiah and Reiss Nelson could also leave soon.

Gunners boss Mikel Arteta has his sights on adding more quality in the final third and Sane has emerged as a surprise target for Arsenal.

Sane has been in-and-out of the starting plans at Bayern and his playing time could reduce next season with the arrival of Michael Olise.

Despite this, it is claimed that the attacker is more likely to continue at the club as Bayern won't let him go without another new signing.

They were aiming to land Xavi Simons on loan with an option to buy from PSG, but he has decided to rejoin Leipzig on a temporary deal.
