PL club have ended talks to sign Chelsea striker
Ipswich Town have decided against signing Chelsea striker Armando Broja in the current transfer window, according to The Telegraph.
The Premier League newcomers recently agreed to sign Broja on loan with an obligation to buy for £30m in case they are not relegated.
However, the club pulled out of the deal after getting to know that Broja has been carrying an injury and may not play immediately.
Ipswich re-entered talks over a straight-loan move, but they have now formally ended discussions for the Albanian marksman.
Broja will continue his recovery with the Blues this summer and he could pursue a new club when the transfer window reopens in January.
The news is a huge setback for the Blues, who need to recoup funds from player sales after the big outlay on signings this summer.
The club are still hopeful of a selling spree. Trevoh Chalobah, David Datro Fofana, Ben Chilwell and Raheem Sterling could leave on deadline day.
