Arsenal winger to join PL club on loan
Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson is set to join Ipswich Town on a season-long loan deal, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Gunners are currently in advanced talks with Chelsea over a loan deal for Raheem Sterling. The England international has already agreed terms and he is waiting to undergo a medical with Arsenal.
Amidst this, Nelson is expected to head for the exit door on a temporary basis. The winger is keen to play regular first-team football and Ipswich have made the best loan proposal to the London giants.
Arsenal are expected to permit his medical soon, provided they can finalise loan terms with Sterling. It is only a matter of time before the former Manchester City man arrives in north London.
Nelson was initially on the radar of Leicester City this summer, but their interest cooled due to Arsenal's reluctance to negotiate. However, the scenario has completely changed on deadline day with the Gunners on the cusp of landing Sterling from their arch-rivals.
