Bruno Fernandes reacts to sending off vs Tottenham

Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has said that he was unlucky to receive a red card during the 3-0 Premier League loss to Tottenham Hotspur.
The Portugal international had a poor start to the game. His day ended on a sour note after he was sent off for a rash challenge on James Maddison.
The Red Devils skipper made the slightest of contact with his studs, but it was enough for referee Chris Kavanagh to hand him his marching orders.
Speaking after the game, Fernandes said that it was never a red card and Maddison acknowledged the same when he was leaving the pitch.
He said: "I didn't go with the studs, it’s never a red card. Even James Maddison when he gets up he said it’s not a red card."
Fernandes is now suspended for the league games against Aston Villa, Brentford and West Ham United - two of them on the road.
His absence is a huge blow for the Red Devils, but could be a blessing too. Mason Mount has the opportunity to step up and prove a point.
