Arsenal handed massive boost with defender back in training
Arsenal have been handed a massive injury boost with Jurrien Timber back in training ahead of the Premier League clash against Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium.
The north London giants have had a mixed start after the international break and they suffered their first defeat of the campaign versus Bournemouth on the road.
They made amends with a 1-0 win over Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League in midweek, but their performance was far from impressive with no clarity in the final third.
Mikel Arteta will be eyeing a much-improved display and ahead of the game, Timber could be available after his muscle issue. He was spotted in yesterday's training session.
Arsenal did not provide a clear picture of him in the training photos released, but some fans spotted that the Dutchman was in the background of one of the pictures released.
Aside from Timber, Bukayo Saka is also braced to make his return from a minor hamstring injury against Arne Slot's side tomorrow.
