Arsenal planning £83m bid for West Ham attacker?
Arsenal could make an ambitious swoop for West Ham United star Mohammed Kudus at the end of the season, according to Fichajes.
The Gunners were widely tipped to sign a marquee winger last summer, but they ended up only landing Raheem Sterling on loan from Chelsea.
This has been severely criticised by most of the fanbase and reports claim that former sporting director Edu Gaspar was also displeased by the same.
Edu had plans to pursue a marquee wideman last summer, but he did not receive the green light from the hierarchy as well as the club's owners.
Arsenal are unlikely to make a huge outlay at the start of the year, but they have plans to spend big on Kudus in next summer's transfer window.
Kudus has emerged as one of the best performing wingers in the division and he is said to be contemplating his future away from the Hammers.
West Ham United have made no progress in the last 18 months and Arsenal could be prepared to trigger his £83m release clause, as per Fichajes.
