West Ham plotting move for Chelsea defender in January
West Ham United are considering a surprise move for Chelsea defender Tosin Adarabioyo when the transfer window reopens in January.
The Hammers have had a dreadful first half to the Premier League season and they are currently at the tail end of the table with just 15 points.
The club have conceded a staggering 27 goals from 14 games and manager Julen Lopetegui faces a must-win clash at Wolves tomorrow.
Amidst this, it is reported that the east London outfit are aiming to sign another central defender with adequate Premier League experience.
Adarabioyo only joined the Blues on a free transfer last summer, but the Hammers are prepared to make an approach to sign him next month.
The former Fulham man has played just over 250 minutes in the league this campaign. He is not assured a starting role under manager Enzo Maresca.
It remains to be seen whether the Blues will be tempted to sell him, considering they are currently in the mix for the top-flight title.
