Mikel Arteta breaks silence on Myles Lewis-Skelly's red card vs Wolves
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has sent his reaction following Myles Lewis-Skelly's controversial red card against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League.
The Gunners returned to winning ways in the top-flight with a 1-0 victory at the Molineux Stadium, but they had to work really hard for the outcome.
Lewis-Skelly was surprisingly sent off for a tactical foul outside the Wolves box and the Gunners had to play with 10 men until Joao Gomes' red card in the 70th minute.
Riccardo Calafiori eventually scored the winner for the Gunners with a sensational strike. Speaking after the game, Arteta said that he expects Lewis-Skelly's red card to be overturned.
He said: "Very expandable, very easy. I leave it to you guys because it’s that obvious that today, you don’t need my words. It was so obvious."
With the victory, Arsenal remain six points behind leaders Liverpool, who still have a game in hand against fierce rivals Everton on the road.
