Revealed: How much Arsenal need to pay to sign Matheus Cunha
Arsenal will reportedly need to pay around £70 million to land the signature of Wolverhampton Wanderers star Matheus Cunha this winter.
The Gunners are determined to bolster their attacking department following injuries to Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Jesus. The latter is out for the rest of the year.
Manager Mikel Arteta has voiced his concern in multiple press conferences and UOL claim that the club are determined to land the signature of Cunha from Wolves.
The Brazilian has been in a contract stand-off with the Midlands outfit, but they are reluctant to lose him on the cheap before the transfer window closes.
Wolves are in a relegation battle at the bottom of the table and they are prepared to demand at least £70 million to sanction his sale this winter.
That is a huge outlay for any player and it remains to be seen whether Arsenal will be willing to pay such an amount for him in the near future.
