Arsenal handed double boost ahead of Girona clash
Arsenal have been handed a double fitness boost ahead of the Champions League clash against Girona on the road on Wednesday night.
The Gunners are third in the league phase of the Champions League, and they are guaranteed to finish in the top eight, barring a heavy loss.
Ahead of the encounter, they have received a double boost with Martin Odegaard and Mikel Merino part of the travelling squad.
Odegaard missed the trip to Wolves due to illness while Merino was sidelined with a knock. The pair have recovered in time for the game.
Arsenal have a huge Premier League clash against Manchester City at home on Sunday. We could see plenty of rotation at Girona tomorrow.
Odegaard and Merino are poised to start while Jorginho, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Riccardo Calafiori could make the XI as well.
Ethan Nwaneri was substituted at the half-time interval last weekend. The youngster will be eyeing his maiden European start on Wednesday.
