Arsenal handed double injury boost for Brentford clash
Arsenal have been handed a double injury boost ahead of the Premier League clash against Brentford on Saturday.
The Gunners returned to winning ways in midweek with a sensational 3-0 victory over Real Madrid in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final.
Declan Rice stole the headlines with two world-class free-kicks. Mikel Merino put the gloss on the performance with a third goal from inside the box.
Rice and Bukayo Saka were substituted in the same game with knocks, but manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed that the duo are fit to face the Bees at the weekend.
Arsenal entertain the west London outfit at the Emirates Stadium and they need to beat the Bees to keep their slim chances of winning the title alive.
The Gunners are 11 points behind leaders Liverpool. They can temporarily reduce the gap to eight. The Reds face West Ham United on Sunday.
Arteta will no doubt make multiple changes to the starting XI.
