Chelsea still keen on landing Alejandro Garnacho
Chelsea remain keen on landing Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho when the transfer window reopens next month, according to Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol.
The Blues are expected to spend big during the summer and reports claim that manager Enzo Maresca could be backed with a transfer kitty of more than £200 million with player sales.
A wide player is one of the top priorities for the club and Solhekol claims that the Blues prefer to sign a player with potential over an elite star, who could demand significant weekly wages.
Garnacho was a top target for the Blues at the start of the year where his agent was spotted at Stamford Bridge. The club remain keen and could revive their pursuit in the coming days.
The Argentine has had a mixed relationship with manager Ruben Amorim at United. He could be tempted to pursue a new challenge in England. He will cost a fee of around £68 million.
