Brazilian star to undergo Man Utd medical
Brazilian star Matheus Cunha could undergo his medical with Manchester United in the coming days, according to Daily Mail.
The Wolves playmaker agreed personal terms with the Red Devils earlier this month and United are now planning to meet his £62.5 million release clause.
The buy-out clause will reportedly need to be paid in three summer transfer windows. United will pay the first instalment of £20.83 million soon.
United are set to inform Wolves over the decision. Once the initial fee is transferred, Cunha will be permitted to move to Carrington for his medical.
The Red Devils are likely to be ambitious with their transfer plans this summer despite failing to qualify for Europe for the 2025/26 season.
Cunha was keen on joining the club prior to the Europa League final and he has not changed his stance despite the setback against Tottenham.
United are planning to sign another attacker alongside Cunha. Brentford's Bryan Mbeumo has emerged as a top target for the Red Devils.
