Spanish star undergoes medical with Arsenal, announcement this week

Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga has undergone his medical with Arsenal ahead of his transfer, according to Sky Sports News.
The Gunners wanted Joan Garcia for the deputy goalkeeping role behind David Raya, but the Spaniard preferred to join Barcelona instead.
The club have now decided to land Arrizabalaga from the Blues following his impressive season-long loan with Premier League club Bournemouth.
The 30-year-old underwent his medical with the Gunners earlier today, and he is expected to pen a long-term contract within the next 24 hours.
Arsenal have reportedly triggered a £5 million release clause to sign the Spaniard. A formal announcement is expected within this week.
Arrizabalaga had a frustrating career with Chelsea, but he found his feet at the Cherries last season, making almost 100 saves in the league.
The shot-stopper also managed eight clean sheets and did the double over the Gunners. He has now agreed to become the backup keeper behind Raya and could play in the Cup games for Arsenal next term.
