Arsenal and Ukraine star set for Fulham move

Zinchenko on his way to Fulham from Arsenal?

Oleksandr Zinchenko is to depart Arsenal this summer, having been informed by club manager Mikel Arteta that he is free to depart the Emirates Stadium in search of regular first-team football. The 28-year-old Ukraine international arrived at the Gunners in 2022 and has so far played 69 Premier League games, but injuries have blighted his spell in North London and a transfer to Fulham could give the versatile midfielder an opportunity to shine elsewhere.

Despite being a hugely popular member of the Arsenal squad, Mikel Arteta is said to favour Myles Lewis-Skelly at left-back, and Zinchenko will have his work cut out attempting to dislodge Martin Zubimendi and Chrstian Norgaard from the Arsenal defensive midfield. At Fulham, Zinchenko has been promised regular action plus a more attacking role, as well as a possible three year deal playing for Marco Silva's side.

Formerly of Manchester City, Zinchenko arrived at Arsenal having won the Premier League four times, but since moving to the Gunners silverware has not arrived, and the Arsenal man is now ready to try his luck in West London.

It is understood that Arsenal will accept a £11.5 million fee as well as a further £3.5 million in add-ons, based upon performance and appearances.
