Man Utd have told Casemiro to leave this summer
Manchester United have reportedly told midfielder Casemiro to head for the exit door amid their pursuit of Brighton & Hove Albion star Carlos Baleba.
Casemiro has been a key player for the Red Devils over the past few years, but he has shown signs of regression and is no longer a guaranteed starter.
United are actively looking to land Baleba as a competitor for Manuel Ugarte and Casemiro has been told to find a new club before the deadline next month.
As things stand, the Brazil international has no plans of doing so. He does not intend to move to the Saudi Pro League despite interest from Al-Nassr this month.
Casemiro has just returned to the national team fold under head coach Carlo Ancelotti, and he may not make the World Cup squad if he were to play in Saudi Arabia.
The midfielder may want to continue his career in a top European league, but such a deal could be difficult to finalise due to his hefty £350,000 per week wages.
