Man Utd attacker pushing to be fit for Chelsea game
Manchester United attacker Matheus Cunha is stepping up his fitness with a personal trainer ahead of the Premier League clash against Chelsea at Old Trafford.
The Brazil international picked up a hamstring injury against Burnley before the international break, and he subsequently missed the 3-0 loss to Manchester City on the road last weekend.
Cunha has been posting pictures of him training in recent days and reports claim that he is pushing to be in contention to face the Blues in Saturday's league encounter at home.
Manager Ruben Amorim refused to take a risk with him for the Manchester derby and it remains to be seen whether Cunha will make the matchday squad against the Blues.
Amorim is unlikely to pick him unless he is fully fit. He would not want to risk a recurrence of the same injury as Cunha is a very important player in the number 10 position.
While Cunha could be available at the weekend, it is unlikely that Mason Mount or Diogo Dalot will feature against Enzo Maresca's side.
