Marcus Rashford speaks on Barcelona transfer plans
Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has opened the door for a permanent transfer to Barcelona following his season-long loan deal.
The England international was deemed surplus to requirements under manager Ruben Amorim and was loaned out to Barcelona last summer.
The Red Devils graduate has made a brilliant start to his Blaugrana career and has already made 11 goal contributions from 12 appearances.
The Catalan giants have the option to sign him next summer for an initial £26 million, and Rashford is already looking forward to the move.
He said: "Yes, of course. I'm enjoying myself at this club. Barcelona is one of the flagship clubs in the history of this sport. For a player, it's an honour."
Rashford's relationship with Amorim broke down in December last year and he spent the second half of last season on loan at Aston Villa.
Villa had the option to purchase him during the summer, but they did not exercise it after Rashford refused to accept a pay-cut on his wages.
Rashford, however, agreed to a salary reduction at Barcelona. He looks poised to secure a permanent transfer based on his early season form.
