Real Madrid ready to sign Enzo Fernandez

Real Madrid are prepared to step up their pursuit of Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez, according to Spanish outlet Marca.

The La Liga giants recently secured an agreement to land Chelsea left-back Marc Cucurella for a package of £52 million.

Los Blancos are now keen on landing their long-term target, Fernandez, and reports claim that manager Jose Mourinho has given the green light.

Mourinho is a big admirer of the former Benfica man and Madrid are prepared to launch another quick operation for the Argentine star.

No price tag has been mentioned by Marca, but reports claim that Chelsea are expected to demand around £120m to part ways with the World Cup winner.

Fernandez has already talked up his desire to join the former European champions and personal terms are expected to be a formality.

There could be more departures from the Blues this summer. Romeo Lavia and Malo Gusto could leave for the right price as well.
