Zico linked with Chelsea

Brazilian legend Zico has been mooted as a potential successor for Avram Grant at Chelsea, after Turkish giants Fenerbahce confirmed that Zico and the club had parted ways.

"We've parted ways with Zico," Fenerbahce chairman Aziz Yildirim told NTV.

It is understood that Zico was in talks with Fenerbahce with regards to a new deal, but instead to decided to quit the club after reports linked him initally with a move to Man City.

Now Roman Abramovich is reportedly keen on making him Chelsea's boss; but there is not yet any official word from the club on this speculation.
