Ronaldinho joins AC Milan
Brazilian superstar Ronaldinho will officially complete a move from Barcelona to AC Milan this week; to the delight of the San Siro giants who have been chasing a striker all summer, and had been linked with the likes of Arsenal forward Emmanuel Adebayor. Ronaldinho signs a three year contract tomorrow.
Manchester City reportedly had agreed a move with Barcelona for the signature of the Brazilian; but AC Milan stole a march on their ambitious rivals and completed a swoop for Ronnie late on Tuesday evening.
Adriano Galliani confirmed that Ronaldinho would indeed be joining Milan tomorrow: "Tomorrow (Wednesday) Ronaldinho will undergo a medical, and once he has completed them he will be a Milan player."
A brief statement on the AC Milan website read: "AC Milan and Barcelona have reached an agreement in principle over the transfer of Ronaldinho.
"The player will be in Milan [on Wednesday] to undergo a medical and sign a contract that will keep him at Milan until June 30 2011."
