Newcastle eye Curbs

Newcastle are reportedly considering Alan Curbishley. The former West Ham United boss is apparently interested in the role himself, and eager to get back in to Premiership football.

Since ending his role at West Ham, Newcastle also split with Kevin Keegan. Gus Poyet had been linked with the role, but the Uruguayan was quick to reject the link.

It is now understood that Curbishley could be offered a £2 million a year deal at St. James' Park, and is ready to consider any offers.
