Arshavin nears Arsenal move
Arsenal are moving a step closer to completing a move for Russian international midfielder Andrei Arshavin, according to Zenit's coach Dick Advocaat. The Gunners are set to splash out 18 million GBP for the playmaker.
Advocaat confirmed that a deal was very close to being completed: "Negotiations with Arsenal continue and the chances are very high that Arshavin will soon play in the English Premier League.
Chelsea and Man City are both reportedly still interested in the player, but Arsenal are in the hot seat to land the 26 year old midfielder.
