Malbranque to Wolves?
Malbranque to Wolves?
Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Mick McCarthy could well be ready to make an offer for French midfielder Steed Malbranque if Sunderland find themselves relegated to the Championship this season. It is believed that McCarthy is ready to bid £3 million for the former Fulham midfielder.
Malbranque has been outstanding this year despite a disappointing season for the Black Cats, and Ricky Sbragia has yet to guide Sunderland to Premiership safety.
With Wolves now looking forward to Premiership football this year, it seems that Malbranque is now being lined up a potential purchase. Malbranque could well be heading for pastures new regardless of Wolves' interest, as it appears that Aston Villa and West Ham are also interested in the Frenchman.
