Arsenal to sign Hangeland ?

Brede Hangeland, the highly rated defender, is in the radar of many clubs, but, it seems Arsenal is more likely to secure the signature of the six feet five inch centre-back.

Arsenal is seriously lacking a solid defender at the centre back, Wenger has identified Hangeland as a long term replacement for the ageing William Gallas. Fulham might not want the Norwegian international to go, but, the £15m offer made by Arsenal is too tempting to let go.

Arsenal would be looking to make money by selling the AC Milan bound Emmanuel Adebayor who have played his last game for Arsenal last week.
