Gignac linked with Arsenal

Arsenal are closely monitoring Toulouse striker Andre-Pierre Gignac. Arsene Wenger has been monitoring the French forward for over a year, and the player is being lined up as a successor to Emmanuel Adebayor.
The 23 year old forward has impressed for Toulouse over the last two years, and now Arsenal could offer up to £9 million to bring the striker to the Emirates.
Emmanuel Adebayor looks increasingly likely to be heading for the exit door, and Gignac has been mooted as one of Wenger's preferred replacements.
Gignac was in the French Ligue 1 team of the year last year, and is continuing to show he is capable of becoming one of France's top strikers.
