Milan see Adebayor as 2nd choice
AC Milan have revealed Emmanuel Adebayor is only second choice to Wolfsburg striker Edin Dzeko this summer. The Arsenal frontman is widely expected to quit the Emirates before pre-season training in July.
AC Milan president Adriano Galliani confirmed that the club were interested in Adebayor.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger would command a fee of around £18 million for the Togo international striker.
Galliani said: "Adebayor is the alternative to Edin Dzeko and I have called Arsenal to inform them of our interest.
"I Spoke to Arsene Wenger and Adebayor was part of the conversation."
