Pavlyuchenko eyes Tottenham exit
Tottenham striker Roman Pavlyuchenko has insisted that he wants to look for an exit from the club as soon as possible; after Peter Crouch and Jermain Defoe dislodged the Russian from the first team. The forward has been linked with a move to Roma and Borussia Dortmund.
âI want to leave the club," said the unhappy Russian.
âIt is impossible to remain there under the circumstances I find myself in. I have been sitting on the subsâ bench for half a year and as a result lost a place in the starting 11 of the national team.
âAnd now hopefully we will get to the World Cup â who will rely on a forward who does not play?
âI want to play and not just warm the bench.â
âImmediately after the games with Slovenia, my agent and I are flying to London for purposeful negotiations and I want to take part in them personally."
