Sven: Man City enjoy start
Sven-Goran Eriksson has praised the start his Man City side has had and claims the team enjoyed their inspirational start they have made to the season. Victories over Newcastle and Man Utd has been an indicator of the potential of Sven's team.
Sven has been delighted with his team's start and commented on the club's official website: "You know the feeling in the squad and in the 11 players out there.
"They feel when they can play good football and they know that we can pass the ball around and create chances.
"They did exactly what we asked them to do really, to find the spaces in behind the back line and I think we were in behind them many times, on the right and on the left, I can't ask for more".
"The job is to win the game, but the job is also to defend as well and play attacking football as well as possible."
Eriksson also added that City's focus is on winning the next game and building up their confidence.
"We try to concentrate on the next game, so let's go on with that, then let's see what's happening.
"Winning games and playing football like this of course the confidence goes higher and higher."
