Stoke chasing Pavlyuchenko?

Stoke City have been linked with a shock move for Roman Pavlyuchenko, according to a report from goal.com this morning. The price mentioned for the Russian striker is 11 million GBP.

Pavlyuchenko had an inspired second half of the season at White Hart Lane, and is eager to be a more important part of the first team next season.

However, with Peter Crouch and Jermain Defoe arguably Harry Redknapp's preferred two frontmen, Pavlyuchenko's opportunities may be somewhat limited at the Lane.
