Chelsea to poach Arsenal scout?

Chelsea's head scout Piet de Visser has urged Roman Abramovich to bankroll a move for Arsenal's chief scout Steve Rowley this summer.

Rowley has helped unearth many of Arsene Wenger's top talents at the Gunners, including Alexandre Song, Abou Diaby and Theo Walcott.

It is understood that Chelsea will offer a small compensation package to lure Rowley to Stamford Bridge, and that the scout can expect to nearly double his salary with the Blues.
