Marseille bid for Adebayor

Marseille have offered £13m for Man City misfit Emmanuel Adebayor, according to a report from France. Adebayor spent last season on loan at Real Madrid and has also been linked with Tottenham.

Adebayor told reporters that he was willing to return to Man City if he would be guaranteed first-team football, but Roberto Mancini has told the Togo player that he can find himself a new club.

Marseille are expecting to be quite busy this summer as they look to wrestle the Ligue 1 trophy back from champions Lille.
