Fulham approach Spurs for Keane

Fulham boss Martin Jol has made a £2m offer for Irish international striker Robbie Keane. The Tottenham man has been told by boss Harry Redknapp that he can leave.

Martin Jol is keen to link up with Keane again - the two worked together when Jol was in charge at Tottenham - and will bid £2m to ensure that he moves to the club.

Keane is desperate to stay in London but eager to play first-team football, so a move to Fulham does appeal.
