Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur interested in Liverpool defender?
Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur could reportedly compete with Lazio for the services of Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren.
The Croatian came close to parting ways with the Reds last summer but that was not the case after the club decided against pursuing a replacement.
Lovren has made just two appearances for the Merseyside outfit in the calendar year and it appears likely that he will push for an exit at the end of the season.
According to La Lazio Siamo Noi, Lazio are looking to sign Lovren from the Reds, having previously recruited the likes of Lucas Leiva and Luis Alberto from the club.
However, they are likely to face stiff competition from the north London duo of Spurs and Arsenal, who are aiming to reinforce their central defensive departments in the summer.
Lovren is currently the fourth-choice centre-back behind Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip but the Reds are still expected to demand at least £18m for the Croatian.
