Liverpool Striker Luis Suarez Is Back On Real Madrid's Radar

28 July 2013 - 17:16

Arsenal target Luis Suarez is back on Real Madrid’s radar as the Spanish club is worried about Tottenham’s determination to hold on to Gareth Bale. The Gunners have been looking to lure the Uruguayan to the Emirates, only without any success.

  • The La Liga giants have made Bale as their number one target for the summer but with the Spurs playing hard ball over the striker, Real have prepared to bid for another star striker, Liverpool’s Luis Suarez.

After selling both Gonzalo Higuain and Jose Callejon to Napoli, the club is seemingly short of forwards. Although coach Carlo Ancelotti has brought Isco to the club, he is still exploring the market for a marquee signing this summer.

It is a well-known fact that Suarez has been an admirer of the Spanish club and has been vocal about his desire to join the club every now and then.

His club’s manager Brendan Rodgers is willing to retain the striker but he is aware of the Uruguayan’s discontentment with the club’s regular failure to play Champions League football. He would prefer selling the striker to Real Madrid, instead of equipping his Premier League rivals, Arsenal, with the prolific goal-scorer.
