Barcelona enter race for Chelsea keeper Petr Cech

According to a report from Spain, Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech could be on his way to the Nou Camp. Barcelona are set to part ways with long serving shot stopper Victor Valdes this summer and are planning to recruit the Czech international Cech as replacement.

With Thibault Courtois impressing at Atletico Madrid, the Chelsea manager needs to decide whether or not to make the Belgian his first choice keeper or keep faith with Cech who has been the number 1 at Stamford Bridge for several years.<br />

    Barcelona are expected to make a bid for the Czech Republic international as soon as the January transfer window opens.<br />

    It is understood that Cech himself is happy to stay in London for the time being, but is also eager to test himself in the Spanish league before he calls time on his career.
