Arsenal are currently monitoring Daniel Agger's situation at Liverpool after the defender insisted that he could leave the club during the January transfer window.
The centre-back has falled down the pecking order ever since the arrival of the likes of Kolo Toure and Mamadou Sakho during the summer, and is reportedly frustrated at his lack of game time at Anfield, despite being one of the senior statesman at the club.
The Dane has just started in three matches this season, and the Gunners are currently monitoring the player, with manager Arsene Wenger keen on adding a centre-back to provide adequate competition to the likes of Laurent Koscielny, Per Mertesacker and Thomas Vermaelen.
Barcelona are also interested in the player's services.
